Learning Objectives
- Describe the education award process from application to audit, with an emphasis on appropriate accounting for transactions.
- Define the roles of the business, human resources, and educational departments in the financial tracking of resources such that an adequate audit trail is maintained.
- Identify source documents and California Department of Education resources and demonstrate how to use them in the budgeting processes.
