Event Overview
California K-12 Public School interim financial reporting must comply with requirements established by the California Department of Education. This session will explore the unique rules, software, and best practices involved in this specialized area of accounting. We will discuss how to compile the Second Interim Report from start to finish, guiding you with practical examples.
Our workshop series includes two opportunities to learn about interim reporting: one focused on First Interim and another on Second Interim. The series will also include a discussion of End-of-Year Reporting, often referred to as "Third Interim."
Because First and Second Interim reports require similar preparation and produce similar outcomes, attendees may choose to attend either workshop. However, those who are new to interim reporting or would benefit from additional reinforcement may find value in attending both. While the core concepts are consistent across sessions, each workshop includes unique examples and insights designed to enhance understanding and practical application.
