Based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Michele Gookins is a senior consulting manager with Eide Bailly, LLP. She brings a decade of experience as a K-12 Director of Fiscal Services and Chief Business Official in three California school districts. She also served an additional 10 years in private sector accounting preparing financial statements, negotiating contracts, facilitating external audits, coordinating with Boards and community groups and supervised a variety of business and operations personnel. She has first-hand experience with complex accounting transactions associated with Bond Anticipation Notes, Tax and Revenue Anticipation Notes, Community Facilities District Bonds, General Obligation Bonds and operating a special education administrative unit.
