Janeen brings a unique perspective to her clients, having worked across multiple sides of the audit and financial reporting process. She also completed a two-year fellowship with the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), concluding on December 31, 2021, where she contributed to financial reporting projects and gained firsthand insight into the standard-setting process. This experience allows her to provide practical, forward-looking guidance on complex accounting and reporting matters. She conducts audits in accordance with Government Auditing Standards (Yellow Book) and Uniform Guidance, with significant experience in Single Audits and compliance requirements. Janeen currently serves as Chair of the firm’s Governmental Technical Issues Committee, where she leads efforts to interpret new standards and drive technical excellence across the practice.

In addition to her client service responsibilities, Janeen is a frequent instructor, delivering both internal and external trainings on governmental accounting, auditing, and Single Audit topics. She regularly presents GASB updates to clients and staff, helping organizations understand and implement evolving standards.

Janeen is known for her responsive and collaborative approach. She takes time to understand each client’s unique environment and delivers practical, well-researched solutions. Clients value her ability to translate complex technical guidance into clear, actionable recommendations and to build strong, trusted relationships.

Outside of work, Janeen enjoys spending time with her family and reading. She is the mother of two boys. She loves to travel and learn about the history and uniqueness of the places she visits.
