Since 2015 Alex has been gaining public accounting experience, specializing in audit and compliance work for insurance industry clients. While primarily involved in auditing and attestation engagements, Alex has also worked with clients to prepare financial statements and regulatory filings such as quarterly and annual statement filings as well as the implementation of statutory principles. Alex sits on Eide Bailly’s Technical Industry Committee for the insurance practice, which makes decisions for the firm wide insurance practice. This position allows him to be acutely aware of the latest trends in the insurance industry and to also implement new ideas and thoughts into Eide Bailly’s audit process for insurance companies.

When working with Alex, clients can expect a common-sense approach to the audit as well as responses to questions clients may have. Alex will listen to the issues and will use accounting guidance to provide resolve problems or answer questions in an efficient and effective manner. He realizes that there is not a "one-size-fits-all" solution and that every organization is unique.

Outside of work, Alex can be found golfing and enjoying time at the lake with friends and family.
