The Accounting MOVE Project has named Eide Bailly to both its Best CPA Firms for Women and its Best CPA Firms for Equity Leadership lists for 2020.
The Accounting MOVE Project an annual survey of leading financial and accounting firms that provides an annual list of the best accounting firms for women, a review of the state of women in the accounting industry, tips for how women can advance their career through the leadership pipeline, and resources to establish women’s initiatives in firms.
Both lists that recognize Eide Bailly have women in leadership roles as a cornerstone to earning a spot on the lists. This is the second year Eide Bailly has made the Best CPA Firms for Women list and the first time the firm has made the Best CPA Firms for Equity Leadership list. The Equity Leadership list requires that firms have at least 30% women partners and principals because roughly a third is the widely recognized “tipping point” for members of any identity group to have individual impact.
About why Eide Bailly was chosen for the 2020 lists, the MOVE Project had this to say:
“The wide-open spaces of its traditional territory in the west has fostered a surprise bonus: the firm’s virtual mentoring and long-distance modes of developing rising women now support international expansion that translate its success in advancing women to new countries.”
“We’re happy to receive this recognition from the MOVE Project on our efforts to support our women in their careers,” said Eide Bailly Managing Partner/CEO Dave Stende. “We are continually focused on improving the advancement of women in our firm and creating a workplace where people feel comfortable and valued. Our Inclusion and Diversity Initiative is a committed effort by the firm to establish a workforce that reflects the communities we serve and lets people be their true selves.”
