FARGO, ND — Eide Bailly’s board of directors has elected Scott Kost as chair and Tom Ritchie as vice chair for 2016. Eide Bailly LLP is a regional certified public accounting and business advisory firm that is ranked as one of the top 25 CPA firms in the nation. Kost and Ritchie will each serve a one-year term in their new roles, which began in January.

Scott Kost – Kost is a principal at Eide Bailly and is the director of technology consulting for the firm. He served as vice chair for the board in 2015. He has more than 28 years of experience leading small and large IT organizations. He has served in a variety of executive management roles, including chief executive officer, chief operating officer, vice president, branch manager and major accounts manager. He provides project management and leadership for IT projects, as well as training and development for technology, personal development and strategic thinking.
Tom Ritchie – Ritchie is a partner and a CPA with nearly 30 years of experience providing accounting services for a variety of businesses. He has extensive experience in federal and state tax compliance, planning and consulting, and works with clients to minimize their tax liabilities. Additionally, he has leveraged his expertise in federal and state tax credits to provide hundreds of clients the opportunity to save more than $100 million. Ritchie is also passionate about helping others. He spends a great deal of his time volunteering and raising money for the community. He is currently on the board of Oklahoma State University Alumni Association, and holds various roles in other local organizations and events. He also champions a "Pay it Forward" campaign in Oklahoma each December and is the founder and director of an annual golf tournament that has raised more than $500,000 for ALS research.
