FARGO, ND — During its May partnership meeting, the partners at Eide Bailly LLP, a regional certified public accounting and business advisory firm, elected two new members to the Firm’s board of directors. Sioux Falls partner Kevin Doyle and Fargo partner Rick Steen will begin serving their terms immediately.
The board also elected current members Mark Martens, Fargo partner, to serve as chair of the board, and Linda Koerselman, Mankato partner, to serve as vice chair of the board. Other board members include Ty Inglis, Minneapolis; James Lyons, Denver; and Jerry Topp, Managing Partner/CEO.
Kevin Doyle, CPA, has more than 30 years public accounting experience, with expertise in the areas of audit, corporate and cooperative taxation, forecasts and projections, mergers and acquisitions and depreciation studies. He specializes in serving utility and telecommunication companies.
Rick Steen, CPA, has more than 30 years of public accounting experience, providing audit and consulting services to clients in the health care industry and related non-profit organizations, including foundations and other supporting affiliates. He works closely with clients in merger, management and affiliation analyses, as well as business planning and corporate restructuring.
Mark Martens, CPA, has more than 20 years public accounting experience, providing audit and accounting services to clients in various industries, including insurance companies, rural utilities and agricultural processing entities. He is chair of Eide Bailly's insurance industry group and is department head of the Firm’s Fargo audit practice.
Linda Koerselman, CPA, has more than 20 years public accounting experience with an emphasis in financial institution taxation and consulting, closely held business and individual taxation, and small business consulting. She consults with banks regarding strategic planning issues, such as mergers and acquisitions, estate tax, holding company formations, stock redemptions and minority stockholder tender offers. Koerselman serves as the director of the firm’s financial institutions industry group.
