Our four-part webinar series provides foundational training for state and local government finance professionals across governmental accounting, budgeting, accounting operations, and financial management.
This training will first focus on the foundations of local government budget management, including essential concepts and terminology. Key aspects of the most common local government revenues will then be discussed, as well as methods for budgeting revenues and related concepts, processes, and tips. The final segment of the training will cover the most significant categories of expenditures found in local government budgets with a focus on methods for projecting costs, cost allocations, and interfund activity.
