Bill focuses on governmental entities and nonprofit organizations, providing audit, accounting and advisory services. The governmental sector, K-12 school districts, county offices of education and community colleges are Bill's primary areas of focus. He has provided financial statement and single audit compliance reports for entities with over $600 million in assets and annual revenues in excess of $900 million.

Because reporting requirements have changed over the past several years with more accountability and transparency as primary objectives of the federal Single Audit report, he provides advisory services and training to ensure the compliance requirements of the Uniform Guidance are understood and adequate documentation is maintained.

Bill's clients within the community college industry have included single colleges as well as multi-college districts. He understands the importance of communication within the district and with the audit team to provide for accurate and timely reporting of financial activity and the regulatory reporting requirements set out by the State Chancellor's Office. Many of our community college clients maintain a separate Foundation to provide additional revenues to support programs and services of the District as well as scholarships to students. Bill works with these organizations to ensure accurate reporting within the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) requirements and IRS reporting and compliance requirements.
