Having walked in the shoes of my clients for most of my career, I have a deep respect for financial institutions serving their communities. I am honored to help clients become more successful and profitable so they can better serve their communities.

OVERVIEW

Phil has worked with community banks since 1985, and has extensive experience in the financial institution industry. He is experienced in overall bank management, and specializes in agricultural, commercial and real estate lending. He provides a wide range of risk management consulting services for clients, including allowance for Loan and Lease Loss methodology and risk rating review. Phil provides senior management and directors with guidance on how to identify, measure, monitor and control critical institutional risk exposure. He provides loan file review services and consulting services for stress testing loan portfolios, as well as performs due diligence procedures for financial institutions. Phil is an author and co-author for Eide Bailly newsletter articles and other industry publications, and is also a frequent presenter on financial institution topics for client seminars.

When working with Phil, you can expect a deep knowledge of sound lending best practices. He also has the ability to provide you with insight on your lending guidelines. This knowledge will help your financial institution shore up its loan portfolio to be even stronger and more profitable to your bottom line. An avid outdoorsman, Phil's passion outside of work is spending time with his son at their hunting lodge near Ortonville, Minn., and fishing in Wisconsin. He also enjoys woodworking and time at home or at the lake with his family.
