OVERVIEW
Derek conducts national executive searches for hospitals, health systems and/or healthcare provider organizations. In addition, he conducts fair market value executive compensation analyses for hospitals and consults on succession planning for CEO and other C-suite executive positions for his clients.

In his free time, Derek enjoys paying it forward by coaching basketball, softball and baseball teams. He has been involved in sports his entire life and attributes his professional success to having great coaches and mentors that taught him about teamwork, sportsmanship and being a student of the game.

- Led the system level Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nurse Executive searches for St. Luke's Health System based in Boise, ID. St. Luke's Health System is the largest healthcare provider and employer in Idaho.
- Recruited the inaugural C-suite team for CyncHealth. CyncHealth, a nonprofit, is the health information exchange for Nebraska and Iowa serving more than 1,100 facilities and connecting over five million lives. Derek recruited the first Chief Financial Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Information Officer, Chief Legal Officer and Chief Data Architect for the organization.
- Led the national Chief Executive Officer search for Providence Medical Center based in Wayne, NE. Providence Medical Center is a faith based independent non profit critical access hospital.
- Conducted a fair market value compensation analysis for each executive position at Nemaha County Hospital. Positions evaluated included the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating and Nursing Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer.
