Manufacturers or distributors that may be considering new construction or a plant expansion could possibly qualify for available tax credits. The alternative fuel credit is allowable to manufacturers that sell or use alternative fuel in motor vehicles. Many businesses using forklifts have converted to run on propane instead of diesel. This conversation to propane qualifies as an alternative fuel.
