Eide Bailly Board of Directors Elects New Officers, Adds New Members

FARGO, N.D. — The board of directors of Eide Bailly LLP, a regional certified public accounting and business advisory firm, has elected a new chairman and vice chair as well as elected two new board members.

Brian P. Callahan, CPA, was elected chairman of the board and will serve for one year. Brian is located in Eide Bailly’s Denver, Colo. office and has provided assurance services to SEC companies and his privately-held clients since 1994. He is especially well-versed in accounting and reporting issues that concern the consumer products, manufacturing, real estate, software and internet, and energy industries. Since 2013, Brian has served as the Partner-in-Charge (PIC) of the Eide Bailly offices in Colorado.

Ben Ellingson, CPA, was elected vice chair of the board and will serve for one year. Ben is located in the firm’s Mankato, Minn. office and has provided public accounting services to Eide Bailly clients since 1999. He works with a variety of industries, focusing primarily on closely held businesses. Ben serves as Partner-in-Charge of the Mankato office and has extensive experience with clients in the construction, manufacturing and wholesale distribution industries.

Derrick Larson, CPA, was elected as a board member for a three-year term. Derrick is located in Eide Bailly’s Sioux Falls, S.D. office and has been with the firm since 1996. Derrick specializes in providing audit and consulting services to companies in the telecommunications, broadband and electric utility industries. He also serves as Partner-in-Charge of the Sioux Falls office and served as the Partner-in-Charge of the firm's Communications & Electric utility services practice through April 2019.

Shilo Gorospe, CPA, was elected as a board member for a three-year term. Shilo is located in the firm’s Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. office and provides audit and accounting services to a broad range of entities, including local governments, nonprofit organizations and various business entities. Her current practice is focused on K-12 school districts, charter schools, joint powers authorities and county offices of education throughout California.
