FARGO, ND — You’re probably thinking a 100-year celebration with accountants will be full of suits. But at Eide Bailly LLP, sometimes staff dress like Star Wars characters or ’80s movie stars. Fun isn’t just a word in the company culture statement—it’s how Eide Bailly staff and partners have worked, in the past, just as today.
CEO and Managing Partner Dave Stende even uses the word “fun” to describe the firm in one word. And this year is extra fun for the regional certified public accounting and business advisory firm, as it marks its 100th anniversary.
Founded in Fargo, the firm’s 29 offices in 13 states will be commemorating the centennial with events in their communities throughout the year. Since its beginning in 1917, a culture of service, commitment to community and fun work environment have shaped Eide Bailly’s personality.
“We’re proud to be celebrating our 100th anniversary as a firm. It’s quite a milestone, and we’ve grown to be extremely successful and a top 25 firm in the country,” said Dave Stende, managing partner/CEO of Eide Bailly. “There are many reasons for the successes we’ve had—we have built a great culture and spirit, and that’s the foundation of who we are. And we have remarkable clients who appreciate the service and value we bring to them and their business each and every day. We are fortunate to live and work in some incredible communities where we help each other out.”
