BILLINGS, MT — Billings-based CPA firm Schafer & Associates P.C. will become part of Eide Bailly LLP, a regional certified public accounting and business advisory firm, on Dec. 14. Sole shareholder Matt Schafer and his team at Schafer & Associates will move into Eide Bailly’s current Billings office, strengthening Eide Bailly’s position as the largest accounting firm for businesses in the region.
“Joining Eide Bailly will allow us to focus more on our clients and be a better advocate for them,” said Schafer, who will join Eide Bailly as a partner. “Our clients will continue to have the same level of personal, quality service they expect, but they will now also have access to the tremendous depth of resources and solutions that Eide Bailly can deliver. From specialty tax services, such as cost segregation, state and local tax consulting and international tax, to wealth management and estate planning, we’ll be able to help our clients achieve their goals at every stage of their business.”
Schafer said the union will help his staff achieve their goals, as well.

Adding Schafer & Associates will raise Eide Bailly’s staff numbers to 72 in Billings. The firm has 1,600 staff in 27 offices across 12 states.
