FARGO, ND — Eide Bailly’s Board of Directors has elected Linda Koerselman as chair and Kevin Doyle as vice chair for 2014. Eide Bailly is a regional certified public accounting and business advisory firm that is ranked as one of the top 25 CPA firms in the nation. Koerselman and Doyle began their one-year tenures January 23.
Koerselman is Eide Bailly’s director of financial institutions and partner-in-charge of the firm’s Mankato, Minn., office. She is the first woman to be elected chair of the board. Koerselman has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting with an emphasis in financial institution taxation and consulting, closely held business and individual taxation and small business consulting. She’s become a recognized thought leader in the financial institution industry, regularly speaking at industry meetings and seminars. Koerselman’s also received numerous professional recognitions, such as the “Super CPA” designation from the Twin Cities Business Monthly and Law and Politics publications, and being named a “Top Woman in Finance” by Finance and Commerce Magazine. Doyle is partner-in-charge of Eide Bailly’s Sioux Falls, S.D., office. He has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting, with expertise in the areas of audit, corporate and cooperative taxation, forecasts and projections, mergers and acquisitions and depreciation studies. Doyle specializes in serving utility and telecommunications companies and has worked with water and sewer systems, cable and wireless television, municipal electric systems and more. He’s shared his knowledge with various state and national utility associations, presenting at conferences and meetings.
