The IRS has extended filing deadlines for areas affected by recent California fires and for Louisiana parishes affected by Hurricane Delta.
The California relief postpones deadlines after September 3, 2020 to January 15, 2021 in the California counties of Fresno, Los Angeles, Madera, Mendocino, San Bernardino, San Diego and Siskiyou.
The Louisiana relief postpones deadlines after October 4, 2020 to February 16, 2021 for Acadia, Calcasieu, Cameron, Jefferson Davis and Vermilion parishes.
The relief covers income tax returns and estimated tax payments otherwise due.
