About the Series

Through four specialized sessions, our 2025 Critical Access Hospital (CAH) series will provide a deep look into the current challenges and opportunities in rural healthcare. Designed specifically for Critical Access Hospital professionals, this series will cover key topics in the industry, including:

Sessions are held live online over two months with access to on-demand recordings. Each session is $225 to attend, but we are offering discount pricing of $650 for all four sessions. Eide Bailly clients can attend all four sessions for $300 with a discount code.

Each session is eligible for 1 continued education credit of Specialized Knowledge. To receive credit, each participant must be individually registered, log into the webinar with their own email address, and answer the polling questions.

Meet the Speakers

Ralph Llewellyn

Ralph Llewellyn, Partner-In-Charge of Critical Access Hospitals
Ralph has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare finance, leadership, reimbursement, and operations. He began his healthcare career as a hospital CFO for a 49-bed hospital with a 116-bed nursing home. Ralph has been with Eide Bailly for more than 25 years and is currently the Partner-in-Charge of Critical Access Hospitals and Healthcare Consulting. He assists providers by developing solutions focusing on strategic planning, operational efficiencies, cost report reimbursement, operations leadership, use of business intelligence tools and board education.


Meredyth Lacombe

Meredyth Lacombe, Senior Manager, Healthcare Consulting
Meredyth has over 14 years of healthcare experience focused on operations and strategy. Over her career, she has led projects spanning strategic planning, build-buy-partner assessments, clinical utilization management, new facility activation, and productivity management. Before joining Eide Bailly, Meredyth worked at Mayo Clinic as a Director in Strategy Development and Planning, and other healthcare organizations in operations and finance-based roles. Meredyth is passionate about collaborating with clinical and administrative leaders to set strategic priorities, drive efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve patient outcomes.


Traci Rabine

Traci Rabine, Director, Healthcare Consulting
Traci has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership, construction management, clinic and hospital operations, and revenue cycle. She spent most of her career as a Vice President at a hospital and multi-specialty clinic. She is passionate about helping organizations succeed through implementing and managing efficient processes, strategy, growth, and engaging and involving staff.


Tyler Schriever

Tyler Schriever, Healthcare Consulting Manager
Tyler has been providing healthcare organizations with revenue cycle solutions for over 10 years. Throughout his career, Tyler has gained expertise in both front and back-end revenue cycle functions including scheduling, pre-registration, registration, prior authorization, eligibility verification, billing, accounts receivable, insurance follow-up, payment posting, collections, financial assistance, and customer service. He assists clients by troubleshooting workflow, process, and system issues pertaining to the front and back end of the revenue cycle in order to minimize registration errors, unbilled days, aged A/R, and cost-to-collect while maximizing cash collections, employee experience, and patient satisfaction. Tyler is a member of AAPC, NARHC and the Southwestern Ohio chapter of HFMA.


Joy Krush

Joy Krush, Senior Manager, Revenue Cycle
Joy has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle. Before Eide Bailly, she worked in a healthcare facility in health information emphasizing coding, denial management, compliance, documentation improvement, and chargemaster. For the past eight years, Joy has worked with clients on coding and clinical documentation reviews, revenue cycle processes, and chargemaster reviews with implementation. Joy is currently a member of AHIMA Revenue Cycle Practice Management Council.


Michelle Roehl

Michelle Roehl, Healthcare Revenue Cycle Consulting Manager
Michelle is an experienced leader in healthcare revenue cycle operations and management with a demonstrated history of working in the healthcare industry including Critical Access Hospitals, PPS hospitals, provider-based clinics, private practice clinics, and rural health clinics. For the past two and half years, she has had the opportunity to help healthcare organizations in the role of a Revenue Cycle Consulting Manager with Eide Bailly, performing revenue cycle assessments, chargemaster reviews, and interim revenue cycle leader roles, assisting clients with billing and sharing her knowledge by presenting at conferences.


Scott Braun

Scott Braun, Principal
Scott brings over 25 years of specialized experience in healthcare finance, Medicare compliance, and cost reporting, including 14 years with a Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC). He formerly served as Vice President of the Provider Audit, Reimbursement, and Recoupment Divisions for CMS Jurisdictions E and F, where he oversaw regulatory compliance and reimbursement integrity for a broad portfolio of providers. He has a deep and practical understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party reimbursement methodologies, and has led the preparation and review of cost reports for hospitals, CAHs, rural health clinics RHCs, and nursing facilities. He also provides strategic wage index reviews and appeals support, helping providers optimize average hourly wage rates to enhance reimbursement.


Jeremy Behrens

Jeremy Behrens, Partner
Since 2002, Jeremy has been a leader in managing and conducting healthcare and nonprofit audits, as well as audits in accordance with Uniform Guidance. He provides attestation and consulting services to healthcare clients in Nebraska and Iowa and is an experienced preparer of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports for critical access hospitals, prospective payment hospitals, federally qualified health centers, senior living facilities, and behavioral health facilities. In addition, Jeremy has experience with employee benefit plan audits and providing 340B compliance services.
