FARGO, ND — Nine staff members have been accepted into the partnership at Eide Bailly LLP, a regional certified public accounting and business advisory firm: Travis Burgess and Jodi Daugherty, Boise, Idaho; Judy Vorndran and TJ Bert, Golden, Colo.; Todd Harker, Vail, Colorado; Sean Hales, Phoenix, Ariz.; and Jenni Huotari, Chris Lee and Shelley Earsley, Fargo, N.D. “We’re very excited to have these dedicated professionals welcomed into our partnership. Travis Burgess, CPA, has more than 14 years experience providing tax and business consulting services, tax compliance services, preparation of financial statements and attestation services to family-owned businesses, privately held companies, consolidated corporations, multi-state business entities and non-profits. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Idaho Society of Certified Public Accountants, Associated General Contractors and the Boise State Alumni Association. Burgess joined Eide Bailly in 1998 and is a graduate of Boise State University.
Jodi Daugherty, CPA, has more than 16 years experience in public accounting providing services to a variety of industries, including non-profit organizations, governmental entities, multifamily and public housing authorities and retirement plans. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Idaho Society of Certified Public Accountants. Daugherty joined Eide Bailly in 1995 and is a graduate of Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa, Idaho.
Judy Vorndran, CPA, JD, has more than 17 years public accounting experience, specializing in state and local taxation. She gained extensive experience serving middle-market to large multinational clients for international “Big 4” firms. Vorndran has worked for many years with start-ups to more established companies with complicated processes and deeply ingrained systems. She serves clients in a variety of industries and provides state and local tax expertise in many areas. Vorndran’s involved with the CACI Tax Council, Colorado Tax Audit Coalition, Institute for Professionals in Taxation, Denver and Colorado Bar Associations, Colorado Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She has also spoken across the country on State and Local Tax issues. She is currently in the Women’s Vision Leadership Program, and her philanthropic endeavors include serving on the Executive Board of the Family Resource Center Association that helps families and children throughout Colorado. She joined Eide Bailly in 2009 and earned her undergraduate’s degree in finance from San Diego State University and MSBA and Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado in Boulder.
TJ Bert, CPA, has more than 11 years public accounting experience providing services to a variety of industries, including real estate, construction and oil & gas. He has significant experience with SEC reporting and compliance standards and focuses on oil and gas companies in the areas of exploration and production and well drilling and servicing. He is a member of NAIOP - Commercial Real Estate Development Association; the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies, Inc.; American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Construction Financial Management Association. Bert joined Eide Bailly in 2001 and is a graduate of Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.
Todd Harker, CPA, has more than 21 years private and public accounting experience providing services to a variety of industries, including construction, restaurants and resorts, specialized trades and retail. He specializes in taxation, accounting and management advisory services, with special expertise in small business consulting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants. Harker joined Eide Bailly in 1995 and is a graduate of the University of New Mexico, Anderson School of Management in Albuquerque.
Sean Hales, CPA, has more than 12 years of public accounting experience providing audit, tax, accounting and consulting services to clients in a variety of industries, including retail, commercial, manufacturing, construction and professional services. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. Hales joined Eide Bailly in 2002 and is a graduate of Utah State University in Logan, Utah.
Jenni Huotari, CPA, has more than nine years public accounting experience providing audit and accounting services to clients in a variety of industries with a focus on manufacturing, retail/wholesale, ag processors, non-profits and implement dealerships and works frequently with SEC filings. Huotari has also served as an instructor for Eide Bailly’s continuing education program. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Dakota Society of Certified Public Accountants. Huotari joined Eide Bailly in 2002 and is a graduate of the Minnesota State University Moorhead in Minnesota.
Chris Lee, CPA, focuses on serving banking clients and is a member of Eide Bailly’s Financial Institutions service team. He has more than eight years public accounting experience providing audit, accounting and consulting services to financial institutions, ranging in size from $50 million to more than $1 billion in assets. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and North Dakota Society of Certified Public Accountants. Lee joined Eide Bailly in 2004 and is a graduate of the North Dakota State University, Fargo.
Shelley Earsley, CPA, is a member of Eide Bailly’s Technology Consulting team. She has more than 13 years of experience providing strategic business and information technology consulting. Her expertise includes business process consulting, work flow analysis and integration of business processes into technology, solution analysis and implementation and systems integration. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the North Dakota Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Project Management Institute. Earsley joined Eide Bailly in 1994 and is a graduate of the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, N.D.
