Eide Bailly Board of Directors Elects New Officers, Adds New Member

The board of directors of Eide Bailly LLP, a regional certified public accounting and business advisory firm, has elected a new chairman and vice chair, as well as added a new member elected by the partnership.

Tom Ritchie has been elected chairman of the board and will serve a one-year term that began in January. He was re-elected to the board last fall. Ritchie is a partner in the firm’s Tulsa office and a CPA with nearly 30 years of experience providing accounting services for a variety of businesses. He has extensive experience in federal and state tax compliance, planning and consulting, and works with clients to minimize their tax liabilities. Additionally, he has leveraged his expertise in federal and state tax credits to provide hundreds of clients the opportunity to save more than $100 million. Ritchie is also passionate about helping others. He spends a great deal of his time volunteering and raising money for the community. He is currently on the board of Oklahoma State University Alumni Association, and holds various roles in other local organizations and events. He also champions a "Pay it Forward" campaign in Oklahoma each December and is the founder and director of an annual golf tournament that has raised more than $900,000 for ALS research.

Laura Srsich was elected as vice chair of the board. Srsich is a partner in Eide Bailly’s Denver office and is the firm’s director of state and local tax. She has more than 27 years of individual, corporate and partnership tax and business consulting experience. She has served clients in a variety of industries including real estate, oil and gas, professional services and closely held businesses. She has also served foreign-owned corporations, U.S. corporations with foreign subsidiaries, tiered partnerships and high net worth individuals. Outside of Eide Bailly, Srsich has served as president of the Alliance of Professional Women Foundation, board member for Make-A-Wish of Colorado, and a member of the United Way Women’s Leadership Council. She was also recognized as a 2015 Leader of Note by the Colorado Society of CPAs.

Darrell Lingle was elected in the fall to a three-year term on the board of directors. Lingle is a partner in the firm’s Bismarck, N.D., office and Darrell has more than 25 years of public accounting experience providing audit, accounting and consulting services to financial institutions ranging in size from $10 million to $7 billion. He also provides special services for trust companies, including trust department examinations. His knowledge in the financial institution industry has made him a leader within Eide Bailly, and he serves as firm-wide coordinator of the financial institution group assurance services practice. He also shares his expertise by presenting various financial institution topics for Eide Bailly's internal financial institution training programs and client seminars. Lingle is an active community member and serves on the board for Make-A-Wish North Dakota and is a board member/treasurer for the Bismarck chapter of Dollars for Scholars and Easter Seals/Goodwill of North Dakota.
