First and foremost, my inspiration is meeting the needs of my clients. However, as a service provider I strive to not just meet the needs, but to provide service that gives them value. My biggest inspiration is leaving clients better off today, then they were yesterday.
OVERVIEW
Blake joined Eide Bailly in early 2010. He specializes in providing audit and compliance services to a wide base of insurance clients. Also to support Eide Bailly's commitment to staff development, Blake is active in providing continuing education opportunities by serving as an instructor for insurance-wide training's.
When you work with Blake, you get a partner who is intent on listening and allowing you to fully articulate your concerns. While that might mean he seems quiet at times, it also means your goals will be completely understood and attended to. Blake will always be responsive to your inquiries, as he also takes pride in responding within 24 hours to each of his clients.
Outside of work, Blake can be found spending time with his wife and two kids, including going to the family cabin, cooking and tending to his backyard garden. He also enjoys hiking, camping, cross country skiing and traveling, and is always looking ahead to plan for the next adventure.

Client Work
- Experienced with both Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP).
- Provides oversight for numerous statutory insurance audits, captive insurance audits, governmental risk pool audits as well as other compliance work for insurance companies.
- Serves as an instructor at firmwide insurance and assurance training events.
- Serves on the Eide Bailly’s Insurance Technical Industry Committee.
