Royce Townsend

Royce practices within the governmental accounting, auditing and advisory arena, with a primary focus on K-12 school districts and county offices of education as well as charter schools. The addition of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) has placed a higher standard for transparency and accountability for agencies receiving these funds and expending them within the stated guidelines. Royce has been at the forefront of the industry in providing training to our clients on the reporting and accounting compliance requirements. As a trainer, Royce is a recognized speaker with the CalCPA Education Foundation School District Conference; and the CASBO annual conference, speaking on topics including compliance, updates on government accounting standards and internal control.
