Over the past fourteen years, Brandon has focused his experience on providing audit, accounting, tax and advisory services to governmental entities, nonprofit organizations, retirement plans, corporations, and a variety of other entities throughout California with assets in excess of $1 billion. His governmental clients include community colleges and other institutions of higher education as well as K-12 school districts and county offices of education. Brandon has worked with a wide variety of nonprofit organizations throughout California. Brandon's retirement plan experience includes 401(k), 403(b) and VEBA plans.
Within the governmental and nonprofit sectors, Brandon understands the complex regulatory reporting environment related to single audit compliance requirements, including the OMB Uniform Guidance. He also focuses on audits of employee benefit plans (401(k), 403(b) and ESOP) in accordance with ERISA, Department of Labor and Internal Revenue Service requirements. As a speaker and trainer, Brandon has provided individualized workshops focusing on reporting requirements, new accounting pronouncements, federal compliance and AICPA professional standards. His experience and expertise in these areas are recognized by his clients, peers and colleagues.
In his free time, Brandon enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, watching and playing sports.
