State and local sales tax compliance is always evolving, making it important to stay up-to-date on changes affecting your tax liability and responsibilities. This session will cover what you need to know regarding the recently enacted state and local sales tax rules in the region, as well as the critical national laws. Help ease your compliance burden by being knowledgeable about the ins-and-outs of multistate and local sales taxation.

Presenter:

David Casper, CPA, State and Local Tax Manager
David has more than 17 years of experience with agricultural equipment dealerships, and has provided sales tax support to over 100 retail locations in 11 states. He provides tax advice to clients and has experience facilitating the completion of sales tax returns in excess of $3 million. David is also experienced in creating and delivering workshops related to State and Local Tax (SALT) issues, and has lead internal audit proceedings from start to finish, including protest letters and final payment.
