Event Overview
Approximately 270 new CPT codes and another 150 editorial changes, including deletions and revisions, will go into effect on January 1, 2025. During this session, we will highlight new codes within each surgical subsection including digital medicine and innovative artificial intelligence (AI).

Susan has more than 25 years of healthcare experience with an emphasis on coding. She specializes in Interventional Radiology coding, and all surgical specialty coding, ICD-10-CM and CPT coding for both inpatient hospital and outpatient clinic accounts. Susan also provides education on documentation in order to assign proper evaluation and management of E/M codes to obtain accurate reimbursement, with the 2021 and now 2023 E/M updates.
- Dyan Torgerson, RHIT, CCSManagerDyan has more than 15 years of healthcare experience with emphasis on hospital outpatient coding. She assists clients by providing revenue cycle support for hospital outpatient settings within multiple EHR systems providing services such as coding and documentation reviews, charge capture reviews and coding education. She also researches different revenue cycle issues that clients experience in multiple areas of the revenue cycle, including the hospital outpatient setting, home health, hospice and other areas that may be a pain point.
