The concept of using data to evaluate nonprofit performance is not new, but is becoming much more sophisticated—integrating data analytics, research, and evidence-driven analysis that nonprofits can use to measure their outcomes, impact, and success.
Nonprofits are using these tools both to increase their effectiveness and demonstrate their outcomes to grantmakers and donors. At the same time, funders are turning to outcome evaluation tools to ensure that every dollar has the greatest impact. We will be joined by Andrew Dayton of Constellation Fund and Richard Chase of the Wilder Foundation for a discussion on how data analytics is reshaping philanthropy.
