Course Description: The Health Care Reform landscape is constantly changing, so it is important to keep abreast of the legislation and deadlines. This session will bring you up-to-date with the latest Affordable Care Act developments, and will also discuss documentation and reporting requirements including how to complete the forms, the importance of a review, and what to do when in receipt of an IRS notice. Common questions and examples will be explored.
- Review the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and current updates
- Discuss common misinterpretations of the ACA
- Discuss the importance of identifying and documenting measurement periods
- Outline current reporting requirements including IRC Section 6055 and 6056
