Course Description:

This session will cover what you need to know regarding various state and local tax rules specific to the manufacturing and distribution industry.

Learning Objectives:
  - Review important recent tax law changes and how they affect the manufacturing and distribution industry
  - Outline how aggressive state expansions of sales tax collection requirements create nexus and the related filing requirements and risks for businesses working across state lines
  - Review how the new remote seller legislation will expand responsibilities and reporting requirements
  - Identify how new court decisions affect your state tax responsibilities
