We will also discuss Day 1 accounting, Call Report impact, and other financial statement presentation and disclosure requirements. Tom and Roger will also address Lease standard implementation and ensure banks have taken inventory of leases and are ready to implement as of Dec 31, 2022. We will discuss other applicable relevant bank accounting topics such as accounting for mortgage derivatives and other derivative/hedging instruments, accounting for changes in debt securities classification, and business combination/acquisition accounting.
  • A2 - Core Contracts Update: Explore the top 10 pitfalls when evaluating your technology providers and contracts with a detailed look into how Vendors and Contracts can eat into your bottom line. Eide Bailly Directors, Tom Caruthers and Mike Martin will discuss items to look for when negotiating your next Contract Renewal, Technology Evaluation, or Systems and Services purchase. They will also discuss items to monitor to ensure your Vendor is keeping up with your current and future Technology needs to ultimately maximize your customers’ wallet share.
  • A3 - Cybersecurity Update: Define what a cyber-attack is and the effects it can have on your organization and discuss how cybersecurity can protect your data and reputation with Kyle Hendrickson, Eide Bailly.

Do I have to attend all the sessions?
No. You can register for any individual session or all five sessions.

How much does it cost to attend?
There is no cost to attend the 42nd annual Eide Bailly Bank Seminar. However, we require that you register ahead of time.

Will I receive continuing education credit for attending?
Many of the sessions will qualify for CPE credit. For full details related to CPE, visit the registration page for each session.

Will the sessions be recorded?
The event in Ontario, California on October 24, 2022 will be the only seminar recorded. Recorded sessions are not eligible for CPE.
