Evaluating and integrating IT across organizations can be a pain-staking task. When an organization is looking to acquire or merge with another business, some due diligence work is necessary to determine the value of the IT (to price the transaction), how well it will integrate with the existing company's IT infrastructure and applications, and if there are any risk areas or future costs to plan for.

At Eide Bailly we offer a streamlined and complete approach to IT valuation. We begin with gaining an understanding of the business to be acquired, the future strategy, the organizational structure and strategy related to IT, policies, available documentation and locations. Then we work to understand the existing IT environment of the company to be acquired, IT assets inventory, licensing, contracts, maintenance and support agreements, applications used and any additional factors for consideration.

Our goal is to simplify IT integration by providing clarity. Eide Bailly's business and technology consultants work closely with the businesses involved to clarify the situation, discuss identified risks, summarize areas for further consideration, suggest additional areas of risk, and provide feedback on the market value of the IT Assets.
