Are you "reasonably sure" you are receiving value from your audit? You require an audit to obtain reasonable assurance about whether your statements are free of material misstatements. It’s a non-negotiable requirement.
We understand this. At Eide Bailly, our audit is conducted by examining, on a test basis, evidence supporting the amounts and disclosures in the financial statements. We include tests we consider necessary to enable us to express an opinion that the financial statements are fairly presented in all material respects, and are in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles.
You deserve more from your audit. As part of our audit services, we also prepare a management letter at the conclusion of the engagement. This letter may include comments on deficiencies noted in internal controls, suggestions to improve accounting procedures or the financial reporting process, or other general tax planning or business recommendations. Although such recommendations may ultimately be included in the management letter, we also discuss them with management so that, if appropriate, recommendations can be implemented promptly.
