Shannon's Story
Shannon is MORE than an accountant, she's a mother. Her caring, nurturing attitude is reflected in the personal attention she gives her clients.
Shannon Breuer chose to leave a "Big Four" firm and return to Eide Bailly strictly for the culture. "Eide Bailly takes its culture seriously; it's much more than a statement. I was doing exactly the same work at a Big Four firm, but I didn't feel connected. At Eide Bailly, I feel like part of a family, literally. Early in my career, I was invited to spend Thanksgiving at a partner's house. You just don't experience that at other firms where younger staff rarely talk to partners, much less go to their homes for the holidays!" Shannon reflects.
The culture at Eide Bailly also encourages staff members to grow both personally and professionally. Early in her career, Shannon displayed leadership qualities, and she naturally kept growing and learning. As a senior manager, Shannon was entrusted with leading the real estate industry Firm wide.
"The culture at Eide Bailly has directly influenced my ability to succeed. I'm trusted in my work and have the freedom to make decisions," Shannon, who was recently promoted to partner, says. "This trust motivates me to create my own successes; I know I have the support of the Firm."
"I believe the culture makes me a better advisor to clients and teacher to staff," Shannon says. "It also enables me to be a better mother. I would not be able to be a partner and a mother if Eide Bailly didn't support and trust me. I look forward to going to work every day because I know my contributions matter and affect the overall success of the Firm."
The culture at Eide Bailly has allowed Shannon to be more than an accountant-she's a Firmwide industry leader and a single mother.
