FUN Facts About Me
Title:
Audit Senior Associate
Hometown:
Oklahoma City
School:
Oklahoma Christian University, Oklahoma City
My Career Path:
I came to Eide Bailly through the merger of Murrell Hall McIntosh (MHM) in Oklahoma City, where I was recruited straight out of college. I was drawn to MHM because of the culture and the people I met at firm outreach events. That firm had a culture that emphasized building solid working relationships, career advancement and work/life balance, all while maintaining a close-knit community. When we merged with Eide Bailly, I noticed a very consistent culture with what I was used to and, while Eide Bailly is much larger than MHM, the close-knit feel is very much the same. What's different is the community and a larger pool of resources.
Describe your typical day at Eide Bailly:
No two days are the same, but most consist of wrapping up various projects and checking in with clients on open projects.
Hobbies:
Reading. Janet Evanovich and Jennifer Crusie are my favorite authors. However, I do enjoy downloading free e-books to test out new authors. I also enjoy watching TV. Some of my favorite shows are NCIS, Bones and The Big Bang Theory. I also spend free time doing Pilates.
Why I chose Eide Bailly:
Because the people are great and the size of the firm felt comfortable.
If I won a million dollars today I would:
Pay taxes on it, of course! And I would donate a portion to my church, invest part of it for building a dream home, help out a few family members that have fallen on hard times and then I’d figure out what to do with the rest.
Three things you’ll find on my desk:
Post-it Notes - love them! Snacks and papers, papers, papers.
My first job:
I worked the concession stands at University of Oklahoma football and basketball games. "$2.50 for a bottle of water, please."
